Health Care Flexible Spending Account Plan

To put more money in your pocket, to reduce your income tax liability, to help budget for medical expenses not covered by your medical insurance or otherwise, this employer-established plan allows you to pay for specified medical expenses with pre-tax dollars.

The employee contributes funds to the account through a salary reduction agreement and is able to withdraw the funds set aside to pay for medical bills.

The salary reduction agreement means that any funds set aside in a flexible spending account escape both income tax and social security tax. Employers may contribute to these accounts as well.

Commuter Benefits Program

We support employees with effective management policies and promote commuter benefits as a tool of good management and community responsibility. A stressful and difficult commute heavily impacts an employee’s productivity, morale and performance. We understand that reduction in time and cost of commuting can be a highly attractive and valued fringe benefit to employees.

Our Commuter Benefits Program offers employees excellent benefits and helps make their commute to work easier and more enjoyable:

  • it facilitates access to all information on carpools, van pools, alternative work schedules
  • subsidizes costs by paying for eligible commuting expenses with tax- free transit benefits (eg. Metrocheck)
  • allows employees to pay for their own transit or van pool costs with pre-tax dollars
  • offers flexible working hours and minimizes last minute overtime

Retirement Savings Plans (401K)

Retirement planning is an ongoing process that a person needs to keep up with and manage for a financially secure retirement.

The planning process goes from accumulation of wealth to making the right decisions about assets.

A 401(k) plan is a retirement savings plan that is funded by employee contributions and (often)-matching contributions from the employer. The contributions are taken from pre-tax salary, and the funds grow tax-free until withdrawn. Also, the plans are (to some extent) self-directed, portable and the compounding effect of consistent periodic contributions over the period of 20 or 30 years is significant.

Since the program is a personal investment program for your retirement, it is protected by pension (ERISA) laws.

Employee Assistance Program

This program is designed to provide confidential and accessible services to employees experiencing personal, family and workplace problems.

We firmly believe that healthy people are more effective workers, family and community members.

The Employee Assistance Program is staffed by professionals trained in the areas of counseling psychology, social work, conflict resolution, chemical dependency, and marriage and family therapy.

Trained therapists provide employees with usefuladvice, support and concrete, practical solutions to relationship challenges and workplace stress. Program outcome studies indicate this improves productivity and reduces poor quality, absenteeism, and morale problems.

Adoption Assistance

As a forward thinking corporate, we offer adoption benefits as part of our employment benefits package.

The Adoption Assistance Plan is a company-sponsored program that financially assists or reimburses employees for expenses related to the adoption of a child and/or provides for paid or unpaid leave for the adoptive parent/ employee.

Financial assistance may be reimbursement for specific costs or a set amount of money, regardless of actual expenses. Adoption leave may be paid or unpaid and provides the time following the adoption for the parent to help the child bond and feel comfortable.

Training and Development

Saviance Technologies constantly invests in focused training programs to help its employees acquire knowledge, develop competencies and adopt behaviors that improve performance and competitiveness.

This program is offered as a service to our employees whereby the company deposits their net pay automatically on time into 1 to 4 separate bank accounts.

On the Employee Pay Date, employees are able to access these funds securely and conveniently, via any method that is available to them including ATMs.

ePayStub

ePay Stub is an online version of a paper pay stub. On payday, employees who have elected the ePay Stub option may receive an e-mail reminder that their pay stub is available online.

Employees may access their ePay Stub online via the Employee Service Center, a secured web site.

The ePay Stub option is available only to employees who have elected to be paid by Direct Deposit. If an employee is paid by a physical, negotiable check for any reason, he will receive a paper pay stub.

Health Care Management Solution

Our benefit and health plans are designed to reflect our commitment to keeping our most important assets – our employees - in good health and working at optimal speed.

Basic Term Life Insurance

These policies provide extra protection to help family members and loved ones deal with unexpected crises and the associated financial instability.

Term life insurance, or temporary insurance, covers a person against death for a limited time, the term. You pay for the policy period and at the end of the term, the contract or policy expires. If no claims are made against the policy during the term, you don't receive any benefits after the policy expires. There is no “accumulation” element.

Young families with large financial obligations are usually better off with term life insurance policies. The substantially lower premiums enable them to purchase sufficient coverage to protect against loss of income. Up to $50,000 value for all active employees included.

Basic Disability

Studies show that in the U.S., a 20-year-old worker has a 3 in 10 chance of becoming disabled before reaching retirement age. If you don't have much in the way of a financial cushion, you need enough to cover costs and supplement your income until you can go back to work.

Disability insurance, sometimes called "income insurance" guarantees a monthly income - usually 60% of your average earned income - to help maintain your standard of living even when the paychecks suddenly stop.

Voluntary Benefits

The voluntary benefits platform offers a comprehensive array of services and rounds off an employee’s benefits package.

This includes insurance for legal services, dental benefits, auto and home insurance, life insurance or any specified health event that requires hospital confinement and continuing care.

Voluntary plans are sponsored by the employer, but the premiums are paid 100% by the employee through the convenience of payroll deduction.

The employees may pay their premiums (for certain products) on a pre-tax basis through an IRS approved "Section 125" plan.

The result is a tax savings for the employee and the employer.

Educational Assistance

Up to $1500 in tax-free employer-provided tuition reimbursement a year creates access to higher education.

Educational assistance benefits include payments by the employer for tuition, fees, and similar expenses, books, supplies, and equipment.

It does not include payments for meals, lodging, transportation, or tools or supplies (other than textbooks) that you can keep after completing the course of instruction.

Educational Assistance

A choice of top quality plans for routine preventive dental and vision care provides employees with a cost-effective way to minimize health care costs for themselves and their families.

Low co pays, no referrals, and company paid premiums - up to 50% - to offset high medical premiums improve the overall benefits package for the employees.
