Senior Mobile Application Developer- iOS

Description:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, computer engineering or a technology-related field.
- Two+ years of experience in all of the following:
- Use of peripheral SDKs for iOS, Android
- Use of RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of major frameworks (Cocoa Touch, Core Services and/or Core OS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Apple’s publishing process
- Understanding of and experience using GIT
- Five+ years of experience in the following:
- XML, JSON and Web Services
- Objective C/Swift
Desired Skills:
- Ability to clearly present technical ideas and high-level concepts and solutions to internal and external team members who have varying degrees of technical knowledge.
- Understanding of performance testing and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with and understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
- Understanding of recommended design patterns and architectures
- Knowledge of iOS 8 features and differences from prior versions
- Knowledge of Android Material Design
- Experience with Android Studio or Eclipse with ADT
- Familiarity with usability concepts within mobile design
- High proficiency with development tools and workflows (modern source control systems, unit testing, continuous workflow, etc.)
- Ability to interpret requirements to produce a design that conforms to specifications
- Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Other mobile development experience (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
